ECSERI FLEA MARKET

Here you can find all sorts of things - from little porcelain figures to secession furniture, from old greeting cards to silver pocket watches and the idiosyncratic cult items of the past 40 years of socialism. Old and new, expensive and flashy, beautiful and touchingly ugly items mix together here to give an odd picture of Budapest's past. The flea market is a treasure trove for collectors, browsers, and those looking for a souvenir to take home with them. You are, of course, allowed to bargain; in fact, you are expected to! Almost the whole area is roofed and thus the market is worth a visit even in bad weather.
